Itinerary Details

Day 1

(MD, Motel) Starting on the Coastal Plain today we will explore a number of the nature reserves south of Perth. The plants on these sandy alluvial soils are stunning. Heading inland through the orchards and pine plantations deep into the timber towns of Bridgetown and Manjimup to Pemberton for three nights. We stop along the way to get into the bush in search of hidden gems under the canopy.

Day 2

(FB, MD, Motel) Over to the Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park and the diverse flora and fauna, from the wind/salt swept coastal shrubs of Hamelin Bay to the majestic Karri Trees of the Boranup Forest. We also visit Margaret River and stop off for a wine tasting. Leaving the coast to Nannup on the Blackwood River. Note: Wine Tasting included.

Day 3

(FB, MD, Motel) A morning cruise on the tranquil Donnelly River towards the mouth. The river here is calm and thin offering a lovely interactive experience. In the afternoon we continue our hunt for beautiful wildflowers amongst the Jarrah/Marri Forest and Dairy Farms around Northcliffe and Windy Harbour. Note: River Cruise included.

Day 4

(FB) With our Botanical guide on hand to point out the range of flowers in the forest we take the road less travelled through the forest, farms, dams and mining leases that dot the Darling Scarp. Via Boyup Brook and Collie before a final stop at the Harvey Cheese Factory on the way to Perth.

Note: Program details may change due to variations in flower growth from season to season.
