We visit the Coomberdale Wildflower Farm for a very interesting talk and display. To Carnamah for lunch then via Three Springs and Mingenew to Coalseam National Park for afternoon break. Everlastings cover the ground in good years.

Day 2

(FB, MD, Motel): To Mullewa and a wonder in the flowers on the hillside lookout. In town a visit to one of the many churches built by Monsignor John Hawes and pause for morning tea. Continuing to Pindar, travel via the lovely countryside to Tardun and another walk in the flowers. On to Canna’s old camp site for a delightful walk amongst the Everlastings. Across to the Yalgoo Morawa Road to see the beautiful Wreath Leschenaultia, a unique flower often growing in disturbed gravel. Afternoon break in Morawa.

Day 3

(FB, MD, Motel): After a visit to Geraldton’s HMAS Sydney Memorial we continue on the North West Coastal Hwy to Binnu with a bush morning tea amongst the flowers then via the Ajana Rd to reach the coast at the mouth of the Murchison River. Lunch in Kalbarri. In the afternoon a visit to Bluff Point then via the coastal road to Northampton.

Day 4

(FB): After a stop at Port Denison we travel via the Brand Highway for a morning flower stop. Then on to Cockleshell Gully Rd for morning tea and a flower stop. To the seaside of Jurien Bay for lunch. Afternoon drive to The Pinnacles in Nambung National Park. Later our last flower walk at Nilgen Reserve before our return to Perth.
