(MD, Motel) Along the Indian Ocean Drive to the Pinnacles in Nambung National Park; enjoy morning tea as you wander this interesting landscape. Lunch in Jurien Bay, a major base for the WA fishing industry.
In the afternoon we pass through Lesueur National Park; the second most diverse flora region in WA. On to Port Denison and Dongara.

(FB, MD, Motel) After a visit to Geraldton’s HMAS Sydney Memorial we continue on the North West Coastal Hwy to Binnu with morning tea at Northampton then via the Pink Lake to reach the coast at the mouth of the Murchison River.
Lunch in Kalbarri. In the afternoon we visit some of the gorges of the Kalbarri National Park and later return to Dongara.

(FB, MD, Motel) East to Mingenew and the Coalseam Conservation Park where the Gregory brothers discovered coal exposed within the sedimentary layers of the banks of the Irwin River in 1846.
To Morawa for lunch, this area was settled under the Soldiers Settlement Act and is now a very productive sheep grain region. Following the grain rail to Dalwallinu on the Great Northern Highway.
(FB, MD, Motel) We travel north along the Great Northern Highway into the Station and Goldfields country. Visit the Paynes Find Gold Battery, the only working Gold Battery remaining in Western Australia.
Witness the gold crushing plant in action and explore the display centre next door to learn about the gold mining process in the early 1900s. Returning to the wheat belt and Dalwallinu.

(FB, MD, Motel) South to Wongan Hills and Goomalling before reaching the oldest inland town in WA, York on the Avon River. To the quirky Corrigin Dog Cemetery on the hill overlooking Corrigin. Further east we reach Hyden on the edge of the wheatbelt.
(FB, MD, Motel) We spend the day exploring the interesting features of the region, Wave Rock, Hippos Yawn, The Lace Place, Toy Soldier Display, and Mulkas Cave. In the afternoon we explore some of the salt lake country to the east before returning to Hyden.

(FB, MD, Motel) Travelling via the Tin Horse Highway to Kulin stopping at a number of wacky and wild tin horse sculptures on the route. To Lake Grace for lunch before heading into the Stirling Ranges, one of the world’s richest areas for flora, 90 families, 384 genera, and over 1500 plant species occur there, 87 of which are found nowhere else. Then back to the road to Albany.
(FB, MD, Motel) Morning tour of Albany City then to Mount Clarence and The National ANZAC Centre on Mount Adelaide.
In the afternoon we explore the history of Whaling in the Southern Ocean at Albany’s Whaling Station in Frenchman Bay.

(FB, MD, Motel) On to the majestic Tinglewood Trees and the Valley of the Giants treetop walk then via Denmark and Walpole to the Karri Forests of Manjimup.
After lunch we enjoy a delightful drive through the forest to Nannup, an interesting quirky town on the banks of the Blackwood River. Arriving at Abbey Beach resort on Geographe Bay.

(FB, MD, Motel) Exploring the Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park and its diverse landscapes. From the wind/salt swept rocky coastal shrubs to the majestic Karri Trees. We also visit Margaret River and stop off for a wine tasting before returning to Busselton.

(FB) A morning visit to the Busselton Jetty and Underwater Observatory 1.8km out to sea. After lunch in town we finish off the tour heading up the Forrest Highway through Bunbury and Mandurah.
