Christchurch Earth Quake

Casey Tours would like to inform any concerned family and friends of our passengers in New Zealand currently that although they were in Christchurch during some after shock activity no passengers or crew were injured.
Our 15 Day New Zealand Tour was just 24 hours from coming back to Australia when the recent earthquake hit Christchurch. We would like to thank our hostess (Larissa) and Driver (Kevin) for their quick thinking and decisiveness. Kevin took the passengers to his house in the outer suburbs of Christchurch and found beds for them for the night. We would like to thank Kevins wife and friends for their assistance at this time.
Our flight was scheduled to fly out of Christchurch at 11am on the 23rd Feb but was cancelled. The passengers were taken to the lovely mountain town of Methven and accommodated and looked after for two extra nights and are returning to Australia on Friday the 25th February.
We would like to thank our driver Kevin (from Pacific Touring) , Methven Motels, the Methven Coach Company, our wonderful hostess Larissa and the passengers affected by these events.
Our sympathy, condolences, hope and love go out to all people affected in Christchurch.
